Recycling at Ralston
February 22, 2010We are looking for volunteers for the first week of our recycling program, March 8-12 , to monitor the cafeteria. Volunteers will be asked to sign up for a 30-minute period between 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. It would be helpful to arrive a few minutes prior to your shift to allow adequate time to sign in at the front office and learn the sorting routine.
Volunteers will stand behind the garbage and recycling bins and help direct the children in correctly sorting their waste. Volunteers will not be responsible for any hands-on sorting — only directing the students to do it correctly. There will be clearly marked lists for sorting available in the cafeteria.
